Think Kit started as a way to practice more regular blogging. In December of 2011, the SmallBox team published one writing prompt per day, and invited the world to join us. Each year the project has grown to include more participants from beyond our home base of Broad Ripple Village in Indianapolis, Indiana.
We didn’t know what to expect when we first started this project. Initially, we were most driven by giving ourselves the fuel to flex our blogging muscles in new ways. There was a glimmer of hope that if we shared it with the world, we might find some kindred spirits and interesting writers.
Today, Think Kit has grown to be much more than a blog project. It’s now a community of thinkers, as well as a platform that helped us and others find their voice online.
